Recommended LRM Settings

A. Set Personal Options in the "General" tab

  1. In the LRM, click on the settings gear in the top right of the page, and then select options.

  2. Set the default page that opens when opening LRM. This will make this page open by default when opening the LRM (such as opening directly to dashboards, contacts, applications, etc.).
    1. Select the main menu area (Workplace, Marketing, etc.) the functionality you are looking for is located (most will be in Workplace).

    2. Select the tab of this menu you would like to view by default.

  3. Change the "Records per page" drop down to "250".

  4. Click the OK button.
    1. Note: It may take a moment to refresh the LRM screen.

It is also recommended users navigate to the privacy tab of the options, and select "Never send an error report to Microsoft about Microsoft Dynamics 365." Chrome and Internet Explorer users have noted receiving random error messages, asking them to send information to Microsoft. This setting should prevent this from happening.

Changing Default Dashboard

Some users will be welcomed into the LRM with an error message due to privilege issues caused by dashboards. This is not an error in the system, and can be easily avoided by changing the user's default dashboard. Use the following steps to change your default dashboard:

  1. Select the drop-down for dashboards.

  2. Choose the dashboard you would like to load when opening the LRM.
  3. Towards the top above the drop-down, select the button which has a pin and says "Set As Default."
