This article outlines how to request access for new LRM users.

Step-by-step guide

New Full-time or Part-time WSB Employees
  1. Create a support ticket (support.wsb.wisc.edu) with the new user access request.
  2. Include the user's name, Grainger user name, and clarify the role and access level of the new employee.
  3. Attach an original, signed new user compliance form*: LRMComplianceForm-FERPA.pdf

New Student Employees
WSB hires many variations of limited-term student employees. The hire appointments vary from student hourly to Project Assistantships (PA), Research Assistantship (RA) or Teaching Assistantship (TA) positions. There may be some student employees that need access to the LRM system in order to carry out functions related to their role and job function at the WSB. In order to ensure the security of the data stored in the LRM system, ITS requires that all student employees complete the LRM Compliance Form. Supervisors may request access to the LRM system for their respective limited-term employees.

Supervisors are required to submit the following information to ITS:

  1. An original, signed new user compliance form*: LRMComplianceForm-FERPA.pdf
  2. Start date and anticipated end date
  3. Create a support ticket (support.wsb.wisc.edu) with the new user access request.
  4. Include the user's name, Grainger user name, and clarify the role and access level of the new student employee.

*Please note: the employee or student will not be granted access until the original signed LRM Compliance Form is received by ITS.

In both cases, ITS must be notified of the new employee so that the user can be added to certain access drives (like Sharepoint) and other file servers for complete LRM access. Please allow up to two business days for processing of the new user request.

Training and LRM Documentation
Please direct new users to the WSB Knowledge Base for LRM training and documentation. In-person training sessions are offered at variable times.
Contact ITS at support.wsb.wisc.edu if you have questions about new user set up and training.
