Photography requirements and photo resources.

All photos used on the Wisconsin School of Business website, emails, digital and print media needs to be royalty free. You can acquire images by purchasing through a vendor like I-stock photos or through a free resource like Wiki Commons. You need to make sure you understand the licensing of the photo; free services often require things like photo credit be designated on the page. They also may have limitations on how the photo is used.

The Brand Toolkit provides specific details about do's, don'ts, and the acquisition of  photography assets.

You can schedule photo shoots with the Integrated Marketing Communications department. You can also contact the IMC for more details regarding purchasing a photo from a vendor like iStock photos; they have some resources they might be able to lend to your department, and are more familiar with services like Wiki commons.

Discuss with your department manager where your department photos are stored.
