  • Test:  Landing Page and Blog Posts
    • Check all the text for grammatical errors and accuracy
    • Make sure all the images load and look nice on the pages
    • Make sure the Table of Contents and Newsletter Archive are accurate and all the links/anchors work
  • Build Out: Email
  • Approve: Landing Page and Blog Posts
  • Publish: Landing Page and Blogs Posts to the Live Website
  • Add Links to Email the Landing Page or Blog Posts
    • Add any links that go to other website pages to the e-mail
    • Add links that go from the e-mail the landing page or blog post
    • Add Google Analytics UTM codes to all links in the e-mail or check to ensure they are being added automatically
  • Approve: Email Content - the basic email content is approved for testing in the email marketing provider
  • Set Up the Email in the Email Marketing Provider's Interface
    • Upload and create the list/segment of contacts that will receive the e-mail
    • Set up a campaign
    • Sender property
      • Who is the e-mail from?
      • Where do reply e-mails go?
    • Stage the email content
  • Test: Email
    • Send a test email to the test group and those that can provide final approval
    • Check to make sure the sender property, subject line, and teaser text are correct
    • Check all the text for grammatical errors and accuracy
    • Make sure all the images load and look nice in the e-mail
    • Check to make sure all the links work and that all the links have UTM codes if needed
    • Optional: Run a Litmus test to see how the email looks on multiple devices (upon request can be completed by the web team)
  • Approve: Email Send Date and Time
  • Schedule/Send the Email
