When looking for a new chair there are a few options you have.
- We do have some chairs in storage in which the facility department is more than happy to show you what we have
- If your chair is fine but just a little dirty or needs repair the facility department can try to help you.
- Depending on the extent of the repair or cleaning. We will try our best to get the chair back up to standard.
- Purchasing a new chair is also an option that can requested through the facility department.
Storage
Please submit a service request to the facilities department, email us FSsupport@wsb.wisc.edu or call us at 608-262-2972 to set up a time to look at what we have in storage.
Cleaning or Repair
Please submit a service request to the facilities department, email us FSsupport@wsb.wisc.edu or call us at 608-262-2972 to come look at your current chair. From there we can assess the repairs or cleaning. While trying to get the chair repaired or cleaned we will provide you with a loner chair. We will work quickly to try and get your current chair back to you if possible.
Purchasing a new chair
Please submit a service request to the facilities department, email us FSsupport@wsb.wisc.edu or call us at 608-262-2972 to start the process of purchasing a new chair. To get the process started for a completely new chair please schedule a consultation at UHS Ergonomic Needs. Once that is complete we can help you purchase the chair recommended for you. Chair purchasing does have typical lead time of 4 – 6 weeks to be delivered once ordered.
