This article outlines how to setup a recurring event in LRM.

 

 
The Recurring Event feature allows users to create multiple event dates for a specific event option at a regular weekly interval. 
 
1. Marketing > Campaign > Event Option
  • Open the event campaign and then the specific event option
 
 
2. Scroll to the Recurring Event section at the bottom of the Event Option form. This section records the Recurring Event requests and results. 
 
 
3. Click on the plus sign to the right of the screen, then the search button, and then the new option to add a new Recurring Event.
 
 
4. Complete the Recurring Event form
  • Enter Event Name, Start Date, End Date
  • Enter Frequency (1 = every week, 2 = every other week, 3 = every 3 weeks, 4 = every 4 weeks)
  • Select Days of the Week of the Recurring Event
  • Optional fields (Location, Time)
  • Save & Close
At this time, the system does not allow for recurring events to be set up on a specific “monthly” date. For example, you cannot create an event date for every 1st Friday of the month or every 2nd Wednesday. 
 
 
5. Every 5 minutes, an external process runs and creates the event dates for unprocessed Recurring Event requests
  • See DateTimeProcessed field
 
 
6. After the process runs, review all event dates created to ensure they are correct.
If you're working on an active event campaign, these dates will be immediately available for external users to register for.
