How is Alumni Relations involved in fundraising?
The Wisconsin Foundation and Alumni Association (WFAA) is the main fundraiser for the University of Wisconsin, including the Wisconsin School of Business. The Alumni Relations team works closely with WFAA and our WSB-specific development officers to help the School raise funds. Specifically, the Alumni Relations team works with WFAA on Annual Giving, or broad solicitations to our alumni. These solicitations often occur during the spring (March-June) and fall (Sept-Nov) fundraising campaigns, or through separate efforts such as Day of the Badger. Our WSB development team at WFAA handles specific funding initiatives and manages the one-on-one relationships with major gift donors.
